Very Dry Hand for Pesek

Fred Bart = slowly rolling on
Fred Bart = slowly rolling on
Michael Pesk has just been eliminated by Fred Bart in an interesting hand. Pesek picked up {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} in late position and saw himself heads up with Bart.

The flop came {K-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Spades}. Bart checked and Pesek fired a pot sized bet. Bart made the call. The turn brought the {8-Spades}. Bart checked again and Pesek fired another shot. Bart made the call and Pesek started to look uneasy.

The river was the {3-Clubs}. Once again Bart checked and Pesek moved all in for 3,500. Bart took his time and reluctantly made the call. Pesek tapped the table to acknowledge he was probably beaten and exposed his cards. Bart took his time and eventually showed {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for quad threes and the absolute nuts.

Pesek wasn't happy with the slow roll but still ultimately had to head to the rail.

Bart Losing Friends Quickly.

Fred Bart has just taken a pot from Jamie Pickering without knowing what he really held in his hand. Pickering looked very annoyed after calling Bart's 7,000 chip bet on the river to have Bart then inform him he had nothing only to then expose the second nuts.

Fred Bart's recent actions have certainly got the player's in the tournament talking about him.

Peeters Concedes But Wins Pot Anyway

Peter Peeters Survives
Peter Peeters Survives
Peter Peeters thought he had lost the hand when the board filled out {5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} and Eli Elezra showed {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for two pair.

Peeters tables {5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, stands up and walks away thinking he had lost the pot. However the dealer calls him back as he has rivered a straight to scoop to stay alive!

Eli Elezra Eliminated

Eli Elezra has just busted out of today's event.

With the board reading {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{J-Hearts}{3-Spades}{Q-Hearts}, Elezra held {10-Spades}{J-Spades}{K-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and felt like his rivered nut straight might be good. However Leonard Barshack flipped over {J-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{K-Hearts}{6-Spades} for the full house to take down the pot and eliminate fan favorite Eli Elezra from today's event.

Sam Khouiss Eliminated

A short-stacked Sam Khouiss has just been eliminated by Fred Bart. Bart showed a straight after the river and it was good enough to beat Khouiss who held trip sevens after also missing his flush draw.

Lee Nelson Eliminated

Lee Nelson pushed his remaining 6,400 chips into the middle pre-flop against Peter Peeters.

Nelson held {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} and held the lead against Peeters' {10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{J-Spades}.

The flop of {3-Spades}{K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} gave Peeters a set to snatch the lead. The turn and river were blanks and Lee Nelson heads to the rail.

Lisandro Crippled

The money was all in on the flop of {2-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} with Lee Watkinson holding {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Jeff Lisandro {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}.

Watkinson had snatched the lead with an unlikely two pair, as Lisandro watched the {J-Diamonds} on the turn and {9-Clubs} on the river leave him with only 1,125 in chips to survive with!

Aces vs Aces

Nick Assiotis was happy enough to get the last of his money in holding {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and he found a customer in Mark Kassis who also held aces in his hand of {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

The flop of {J-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{J-Hearts} seemed innocent enough for Assiotis as a split pot seemed likely. However he looked in shock as the the {Q-Spades} and {10-Spades} peeled off on the turn and river to give Kassis a straight with his A-K playing to send an unlucky Nick Assiotis to the rail.
