Sergey Rybachenko Surges

Nickolaus Jedlicka raised UTG for 4,500. Sergey Rybachenko called from the small blind and John Juanda called from the big blind. The flop was {5-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and everyone checked. The turn was the {6-Clubs}. Rybachenko checked. Juanda bet 8,000. Jedlicka called. Rybachenko check-raised to 22,000. Juanda folded. Jedlicka moved all in for 100,000. Rybachenko called for his last 71,000.

Rybachenko: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}
Jedlicka: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

The river was the {4-Clubs}. Rybachenko won the pot and he increased his stack to 160,000. Jedlicka slipped to 30,000.

Timex Takes a Licking

Michael "Timex" McDonald had a tough table draw with Howard Lederer, Tony Bloom, Allen Cunningham, Michael Sampoerna, Eli Elezra, Dan Shak, and Phil Ivey. The 18-year old from Canada is down to 50,000 after he lost a pot to Tony Bloom. Bloom had flopped trips with {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and took a chunk out of Timex's stack.

Props Down Under

Eli Elezra has appeared to have absconded with a couple of our reporters' notebooks to keep track of his "props" with Phil Ivey. For the uninitiated, props are high-stakes bets on what exact three cards will hit the flop. Elezra's sheet has two separate columns-- one with a slew of three-card combinations and the other with a running tally of the score. Ivey has a similar sheet with the three card combinations he has bet on.

Elezra looked to be up just slightly as this reporter passed their table. Stay tuned...

Bloom Picks Off Elezra's Bluff

On a flop of {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, Eli Elezra checked, Tony Bloom bet 9,000 and Elezra called. The turn was the {A-Spades} and both players checked. The river was the {2-Diamonds}. Elezra fired out 15,000 and after a long think, Tony Bloom made the call. Elezra showed {5-Spades}{6-Spades} for a stone bluff after he missed his straight draw, while Bloom turned up {8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for aces and eights and won the pot.
