Stang Raises the River

Action folded around to the blinds, where Bernie Stang opened to 3,600 in the small and Shengeng Ma defended in the big.

Stang checked the 5♦A♦Q♣ flop, calling after Ma fired 2,500. Action repeated on the 8♣ turn, with Ma betting 6,000 and Stang check-calling.

Stang checked one last time on the 2♥ river, and Ma announced a bet of 23,000. Stang took some time before moving all in, sending Ma into the tank.

After a couple of minutes, Ma made the fold and Stang added a nice pot to his stack.
