Amiri Doubles Through Luo
Level 16
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Ehsan Amiri opened to 20,000 in the cutoff and Louis Luo made the call in the small blind.
Luo checked the 9♥8♣A♠ flop, calling when Amiri continued for 10,000. Luo then led out on the 2♠ turn, betting enough to put his opponent at risk.
Amiri counted his stack before sliding it into the middle, leaving his tournament life on the line.
Ehsan Amiri: A♣6♥
Louis Luo: J♠8♠
Amiri was ahead with top pair, and was able to fade on the 10♣ river to double through Luo.
