Ferizis Check-Raises Low

Josh Noy

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Nick Low opened to 2,200 on the button and Nicholas Ferizis defended his big blind to the A♥6♣10♠ flop.

Ferizis checked to Low, who continued for 1,600. Ferizis then check-raised to 3,600 and the call was made.

Both players checked the J♥ turn before the dealer revealed the 10♦ river. Ferizis checked again, as did Low.

Ferizis tabled A♦7♥ for top pair, good enough to take the pot as Low mucked.
