Chen Gives One Up, Still Sitting With a Healthy Stack

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Zhen Chen is going along smoothly on Day 2 of the PPC and currently has around 1,200,000 after losing a pot to Farhad Mohajerami.

The action was picked up on the river with the board reading K7K28 and after Chen checked from the hijack, Mohajerami fired 345,000 on the button. Chen thought for some time but eventually settled on a fold, and Mohajerami took the pot.

Chen may have given up that pot, but he’s still cruising with a healthy stack as Day 2 rolls on. With over $1.2 million in live earnings—and more than $700,000 of that coming just this year—Chen is no stranger to deep runs. He’s already made 2025 his playground, and if his current form holds, there could be another big score on the horizon.
