Terrey Talks Himself Into a Fold

On a board of 4♠7♦J♦8♠ with around 300,000 in the pot, Russell Terrey checked it from the big blind and Daniel Neilson bet 185,000. Terrey called.
A K♠ hit the river and Terrey checked again, then Neilson shoved, sending Terrey into the tank.
"In 60 seconds, I'm going to call the clock on myself," said Terrey, who had around 525,000 back.
"I think I'm good, I wouldn't be thinking for this long if I wasn't going to call," he added. "This is why you're the best, Daniel,".
Terrey continued his speech but eventually did settle on a fold and relinquished the pot to Neilson.
