Bedot Chooses the Wrong Time to Bluff
Level 27
: Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Daniel Neilson raised to 300,000 with 5♦5♣ from the hijack and Reece Bedot defended his big blind holding J♠9♥.
Both saw the 4♥2♠5♠ flop and after Bedot checked, Neilson continued for 550,000. Bedot then put in a check-raise to 1,200,000, and Neilson just called with his set.
A 10♠ dropped on the turn and Bedot fired out another bet, this time for 1,000,000, with his turned flush draw. Neilson again called.
When the 2♥ landed on the river, Bedot rechecked his cards and counted out a bet of 1,500,000 before sliding it across the line. Neilson responded with a shove, and Bedot could only fold.
Chip lead for Neilson, but Bedot goes tumbling down the counts.
