Jaber Goes Double-Double
Level 26
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Noel Jaber just got two double-ups to get himself back into contention!
First, Jaber shoved the button for 335,000 and Joseph Antar called from the big blind.
Noel Jaber: J♦9♦
Joseph Antar: Q♠8♥
Jaber was behind but managed to turn a nine on the 3♥5♠5♥9♠7♦ runout to stay alive.
Next, Weiran Pu raised from the button and Jaber defended his big blind to the 9♦K♣8♥ flop, where the rest of the chips went in the middle.
Noel Jaber: 10♥8♦
Weiran Pu: A♠K♥
It looked to be the end of the road for Jaber, who announced that he was drawing dead. However, the deck had different ideas as the 8♣ turn gave Jaber trips. No king arrived on the 4♦ river, and Jaber was back in business.
