Zhou Over-Bet Shoves With Two Pair

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Nelson Dong limped in from the small blind with 84 and Steven Zhou checked his option from the big holding 102.

On the 6810 flop, Dong fired out 250,000 and Zhou called to see the 2 turn, where Dong checked. Zhou then bet all of his chips, around 3,800,000, with his two pair. Dong got a count but eventually decided to lay it down, allowing Zhou to take the pot.

Burns Adds More Distance

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Kahle Burns called in the small blind with QJ and Romain Morvan raised to 550,000 in the big blind with AQ. Burns called.

Both players checked on the 387 flop and then Burns led out for 400,000 on the 4 turn. Morvan called.

The 2 river bricked out for both players and Burns but a hefty 1,600,000 bet into the middle. Morvan quickly flicked his cards into the middle and Burns earned himself a nice pot.

Burns Feels Scammed By the River

Level 28 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Kahle Burns limped in from the small blind with Q8 and Romain Morvan looked down at J8 in the big blind and checked.

Both made a pair on the 877 flop and Burns bet 200,000. Morvan called and they watched the 3 land on the turn, where Burns checked. Morvan reached for chips and fired out 750,000, and Burns called.

A 7 on the river gave both players a full house and Burns bet a small amount of 250,000. Morvan just called and the two chopped it up.

"Scam," joked Burns

Burns Puts a Move on Morvan

Level 28 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Kahle Burns limped from the small blind with K3 and Romain Morvan checked his option in the big blind holding 32.

Burns checked to Morvan, who bet 250,000 on the Q56 flop with his gutshot draw.

Burns decided to check-raise to 1,300,000, which got a quick fold from Morvan to put a little distance between them.

Domination Rotation Helps Zhou Double

Level 28 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Steven Zhou shoved for 2,400,000 from under the gun and Nelson Dong made the call from the big blind.

Steven Zhou: Q10 All in
Nelson Dong: KQ

Zhou was in trouble as his hand was dominated by that of Dong's, but the 1099 flop changed everything as Zhou made top pair. A 4 on the turn was a brick, as was the A river, and Zhou doubled up.

Morvan Pulls to Nearly Even With Burns

Level 28 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Action folded to the blinds, where Kahle Burns just called from the small with AQ and Romain Morvan checked his option in the big blind with J7.

Burns check-called a 250,000 bet from Morvan on the 65J flop after pairing his jack and both players checked on the Q turn.

The 7 river pulled Morvan back into the lead with two pair and Burns led out for 775,000. Morvan responded with a raise to 2,200,000 and a very puzzled Burns grimaced while he contemplated his decision.

"I'm really not sure about this one," Burns said.

Burns eventually announced a call and Morvan turned over the goods.

Dong Continues to Earn From Burns

Level 28 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Kahle Burns made it 400,000 from under the gun with J10 and Nelson Dong called from the small blind holding KJ. Steven Zhou also called from the big blind.

The three saw a flop of Q103 and all checked to the 4 turn, where it checked to Burns. After some thinking, Burns fired out a bet of 350,000 and Dong called. Zhou quickly folded.

An A fell on the river and Dong took some time before he elected to lead for 850,000. Burns, with third pair, asked how much the bet was and started to talking to himself while he tried to figure out the best way to proceed.

Eventually, Burns announced a call and saw the bad news as Dong showed his Broadway straight.

Dong Doubles Through Burns

Level 28 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Nelson Dong
Nelson Dong

Kahle Burns raised to 400,000 on the button and Nelson Dong shoved for his last 3,700,000 form the big blind.

"Count," Burns said. "I'm probably not folding."

Burns verified the amount and then stuck in a call to put Dong at risk.

Nelson Dong: 66All in
Kahle Burns: KQ

It was a race for Dong's tournament life, and the 7A76A runout left Dong best with a full house to score the double up and put a dent in Burns' momentum.
