Arbaugh Wins Two
Hand #1: Tommy Tran opened the action with a raise to 6,000 in middle position and was called by Brian Arbaugh in the hijack. The big blind also defended, taking action three ways to the flop . The big blind checked to Tran, who made a continuation-bet of 8,000 and received a call only from Arbaugh.
Action was then heads up to the turn and Tran checked. Arbaugh fired out 12,000 and received a call from Tran, bringing the river where both players checked to take the hand to showdown.
Tran tabled for two pair, and Arbaugh tabled for a better two pair to win the pot.
Hand #2: On the very next hand, Arbaugh opened to 6,000 in middle position and went heads up to flop of against the small blind. The small blind check-called 4,000 and the turn came .
The small blind checked over to Arbaugh a second time, and Arbaugh continued with a second barrel of 17,000. Fifteen seconds later, the small blind's hand was in the muck and Arbaugh was raking in his second pot in as many hands.
