Welcome to Day 1d of Event #1: $400 NLH at the bestbet Jacksonville Summer Heater Poker Series. Action gets under way at 12 p.m. local time for the penultimate flight in the opening event of the series.

Michael Curry is the overall chip leader after three flights after he bagged big to lead 15 returning players on Day 1b. Day 1c was led by Joshua Hill, who will return from the third flight with 18 other players. Friday’s flights will be joined by 12 players from Day 1a for a total of 45 runners so far. The opening three flights have generated a prize pool of $113,900.

Players will begin Day 1d with 20,000 in chips and they will play 13 30-minute levels, or down to 10% of the field, whichever comes first. Late registration is open through the beginning of Level 7, unlimited reentries are available until that time. Day 1e will kick off at 6:00 p.m. under the same format.

The Summer Heater Poker Series features 11 events from August 11-21, beginning with the opening $400 tournament and culminating in the $1,500 Main Event, which will be livestreamed on bestbetLIVE.

The bestbet Jacksonville Summer Heater Poker Series is off to a great start and it will continue with 10 more great events throughout the week, including several mixed games events like $300 H.O.E. event consisting of Limit Hold'em Omaha 8 or Better and Stud 8 or Better, as well as a $300 Big O event and a $500 Pot-Limit Omaha event.

The series will culminate in a $1,500 Main Event with two starting flights on August 19 and 20, and the final day will be streamed via bestbetLIVE.

However, the queens weren't good when Head turned over {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for the straight to take the pot and send his opponent to the rail.
