The eighth event of the 2019 Borgata Fall Poker Open came to an end after the final four struck an adjusted payout deal. The chips were counted and it was JJ Liu holding the lead, making her the winner of the biggest piece of the pie worth $8,562, as well as a shiny new Event #8: $340 Seniors NLH Borgata Trophy.

The other three players that took part in the deal split it up as so: Michael Mucci took down second place money on the adjusted deal for $7,661, Jennifer Ames secured herself $7,267, and Howard Schuman pocketed $6,123.

Liu added her first Borgata trophy to her already stacked resume that includes $3.3 million in live career earnings. She came into the final table near the top and never let up on her opponents, applying her aggressive playstyle to almost every hand. The Taipei, Taiwan native already has two cashes during the series and is sure to add many more by the time it wraps up.

JJ Liu opened to 32,00 from the cutoff and Mitchell Mantin defended his big blind. The dealer fanned out {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades} on the flop, Mantin quickly shoved his 130,000 stack into the middle and Liu just as quickly called, putting Mantin at risk.

Mitchell Mantin: {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}
JJ Liu: {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Mantin flopped two pair but was behind as Liu had a straight. A {5-Spades} turn and {q-Clubs} river changed not a thing as Mantin was eliminated by the straight of Liu.
