Sternberg Leaves Katz Short
Level 13
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Action was picked up on the turn in a pot between Ari Katz in the big blind and Alan Sternberg in the small blind with the pot containing 45,000.
Sternberg bet 30,000 on a board reading 8♥5♠3♣A♠ and Katz called.
On the river K♦, Sternberg bet 105,000 and Katz went into the tank before opting to call.
Katz mucked his hand after Sternberg turned over A♥A♦ for top set and he took a sizable pot off of the start of day chip leader.
