All He Has His Bullets and His Word, and He Don't Break Them for No One

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante
Emad Alabsi is a man of his word
Emad Alabsi is a man of his word

Emad Alabsi already won a poker tournament this week... now he's just getting greedy.

Alabsi just scored a huge double through Miguel Borrero - backing up a boast he made moments earlier.

Borrero had chided Alabsi for an unspecified action, with the winner of Event 8 retorting "it doesn't matter anyway, I'm getting all your chips soon!"

Sure enough, after Borrero made an opening raise to 80,000 Alabsi sprung his trap, moving all in for 274,000 more. Borrero called off most of his stack with just {a-Spades}{9-Clubs} - admitting after the hand that his opponent's bluster had goaded him into the decision - only to see Alabsi roll over {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} like a man who speaks the truth.

The final run out of {2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{q-Spades} sent Alabsi the pot, as he backed up an earlier boast in style with the bullets.

Bob Gilbert Eliminated in 10th Place ($793)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante
Bob Gilbert - 10th Place
Bob Gilbert - 10th Place

Bob Gilbert began the final table as the short stack, and soon enough his last eight big blinds went into the middle on a preflop shove.

Ivan Polanco quickly made the call after the table folded around to him, and his {A-Clubs}{k-Spades} had Gilbert's {A-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} dominated.

The final board ran out {q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Gilbert could not find a five, leaving him to offer his former opponents a "good game" before heading over to the payout desk to collect next month's rent money.

Chin Check

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante
Matt Chin - 11th Place
Matt Chin - 11th Place

After seeing the flop fall {6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{a-Clubs} Andrew Zhu tapped the table and Matt Chin checked behind. The turn came {9-Hearts} and Zhu fired out for 100,000, before calling Chin's raise to 350,000.

The river card was the {5-Hearts} and Zhu bet 400,000 into Chin, who held only 420,000 behind.

Chin counted out the bet and sized Zhu up from across the table, before finally announcing "I think you missed the flush draw" and making the call.

"I have an ace," responded Zhu, telling him Chin the bad news with authority in his voice. Indeed, Zhu's {a-Spades}{7-Spades} was the winner when Chin's bluff-catcher turned out to be an outkicked {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}.

The 10 players still left with chips have reconvened at the final table, and a full table draw will be forthcoming shortly.

Tim Bryan - 12th Place
Tim Bryan - 12th Place

Tim Bryan made his stand with a preflop shove holding {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, and James Boyle quickly called with {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} to put him at risk.

The final board rolled out queen-high and Boyle's fishhooks were enough to send Bryan out in 12th place.

Thompson

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Christopher Thompson - 13th Place
Christopher Thompson - 13th Place

Christopher Thompson went broke after getting the last of a short stack in before the flop holding {k-Spades}{2-Spades}.

Andrew Zhu's {a-}{7-} held up for the ace-high win even after Thompson flopped a four-flush to nine outs to his arsenal.

Zhu has topped the million-chip plateau with the average stack sitting at a little over 700,000.
