Dan Buzgon (Day 1b) - Eliminated
Dan Buzgon (Day 1b) - Eliminated

Daniel Buzgon was all in and at risk preflop for around 30 big blind with {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}, and unfortunately for him he was crushed by Frank Toscano's {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}. The pocket kings held up as the board came {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, and Buzgon was eliminated.

"Ace-king's not doing so well, huh?" one player said.

A few hands later, Sean Jazayeri was all in with ace-king, holding {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} on a flop of {10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Toscano was again the opponent, and flopped top pair with {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Neither the turn ({j-Clubs}) or river ({5-Clubs}) were a heart or a king, and Jazayeri hit the rail.

After taking out two players holding ace-king, Toscano is up to 180,000 chips.

Wunstel Exits

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

A short-stacked Corrie Wunstel moved all in out of the small blind, and Frank Toscano called out of the big blind.

Wunstel: {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Toscano: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The {j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop changed very little, but Wunstel took the lead with a pair of kings when the turn was the {k-Spades}. Unfortunately for him, the {a-Spades} spiked on the river, giving Toscano a pair of aces, and Wunstel was eliminated.

Toscano is a knockout machine, and now has 200,000 chips.

So Fresh and So McClean Clean

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

After a massive three-way all in where Scott McClean knockout out two opponents, he has a massive stack of 350,000.

According to McClean, there was a raise and a call before he put in a three-bet worth 20,000 more than the original raise. The first raiser called, the player who flatted the raise moved all in, and McClean re-shoved. The original raiser called.

Original Raiser: {q-}{q-}
Caller: {a-}{k-}
McClean: {k-}{k-}

The kings held, and McClean dragged the pot.

Tuthill Doubles

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

David Tuthill opened to 3,500 and a player across the table from him in the 8 seat called out of the blinds. The flop came {9-Diamonds}{9-}{5-Diamonds} and Tuthill's opponent check-called a 4,200 bet.

The turn was {X-Diamonds} and Tuthill's opponent check-raised Tuthill's 8,100 bet to 25,000. Tuthill made the call.

On the {Q-} river, Tuthill's opponent shoved and was snap-called by Tuthill who had {Q-Spades}{9-Spades} for flopped trips that turned into a rivered full house. Tuthill's opponent mucked claiming he had a flush.

All In and Two Calls

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

With the board showing {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, Andrew Gileno moved all in. Since he had rivered the nuts with {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}, he was probably hoping one of his two remaining opponents would make the call. Much to his delight, they both did. The first caller had a smaller stack and was eliminated - he claimed to have held {A-}{J-} for a smaller straight. The bigger stack of the three mucked his hand and Gileno moves up the leader board to 185,000 in chips.

Spears Gets the Last Laugh

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Kenneth Silberstein was all in and at risk preflop for 48,100 holding {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}, and is in great shape to double against Andy Spears' {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}.

The dealer fanned {q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, giving Spears a leading pair of queens, and Silberstein rose from his chair. He stood there with a frown on his face as the dealer burned and turned the {5-Hearts}, but his face lit up with joy when the {k-Diamonds} spiked on the river.

"Yes!" Silberstein whooped, clapping his hands together.

He doubled to above 100,000 chips, and put them all at risk once again minutes later against Spears. The money went in on a flop of {3-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, and Silberstein was at risk with {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. Spears was drawing with {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, and Silberstein walked away from the table as the turn was the {8-Hearts}.

Despite not wanting to look, Silberstein was close enough to see that the {6-Diamonds} completed the board, giving Spears a diamond flush and sending him to the rail.

"Nice hand," he said cheerily, collecting his things to leave.
