Kunuk Shin Eliminated in 14th Place ($10,040)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Bryan Choi - 14th Place
Bryan Choi - 14th Place

Kunuk Shin open-shoved for his last 169,000 in the cutoff, Bryan Choi called on the button, and both players in the blinds folded.

Shin: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Choi: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

The dealer fanned a flop of {6-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, giving Choi a set of sixes and leaving Shin in dire straights, but the {8-Diamonds} on the turn gave him eight outs to chop.

There was no chop, however, as Choi made quads when the {6-Hearts} completed the board. Shin exited in 14th place, earning $10,040.

Oh No - Toscano Doubles

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Frank Toscano
Frank Toscano

Frank Toscano moved all in over the top of Jewook Oh's opening raise and Oh was quick to call with {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}. He was in great shape as Toscano was dominated with his {A-Spades}{J-Spades} but that would change when the flop came {J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. The turn and river changed nothing coming {8-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} and Toscano pumped his fist and quietly said "Yes!" while doing so.

Oh shook his head, visions of Toscano's chips his now gone.

Spitzberg Fades Spears; Doubles Again

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Paul Spitzberg doubles
Paul Spitzberg doubles

Andy Spears and Paul Spitzberg were heads up on a flop of {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, and Spitzberg fired out a bet. Spears raised to an amount that was equivalent to the remainder of Spitzberg's stack. Spitzberg tanked for a bit, moved all in, and a pot-committed Spears called.

Spitzberg: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Spears: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Spears wasn't thrilled when Spitzberg moved all in, but his spirits must've risen at the sight of his opponent's hand. Not only was his club flush draw alive, but he held two overs.

Despite having tons of outs, Spears failed to connect with the turn ({a-Spades}) or the river ({6-Hearts}), and Spitzberg shipped the 1.2 million-chip pot.

Spitzberg Doubles Through Korotki

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Abraham Korotki has been incredibly active today and throughout the entire tournament, and he just played another all-in pot. This one was against Paul Spitzberg, and Spitzberg doubled through.

The money went in the middle on a board of {4-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{j-Hearts}, and Spitzberg was in the lead with {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Korotki was drawing with {9-Spades}{6-Spades}, and even though the {3-Hearts} on the river, he yelled out in a celebratory manor.

This confused the table, including Spitzberg, who had to reexamine the board. The pot was eventually pushed his way, and he cracked a smile.

"I thought I won," Spitzberg said.

Mauricio Dasilva - 15th Place
Mauricio Dasilva - 15th Place

Mauricio Dasilva was all in and at risk with {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} preflop against Abraham Korotki's {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, and the wired sixes held up on a board of {10-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}.

Korotki recouped some of his recent losses, chipping up to around 1.3 million chips, while Dasilva exited in 15th place.

Spears Takes From His Neighbor

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Mauricio Dasilva raised to 27,000 from under the gun, Abe Korotki called in the small blind, and Andy Spears three-bet to 67,000 from the big blind. Both Dasilva and Korotki called.

The dealer fanned {6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, more than one of the players checked back to see if they had clubs, and Korotki checked. Spears lobbed 83,000 forward, only Korotki called, and the turn was a fourth club - the {9-Clubs}.

Korotki led out, firing 125,000, and Spears called.

The river was the {6-Hearts}, Korotki checked, and Spears went into the tank. With two hands, he double-fisted 260,000 into the middle, and Korotki folded.

David Tuthill - 16th Place
David Tuthill - 16th Place

David Tuthill opened for a raise in early position, Abraham Korotki three-bet to 75,000 near the button, and Tuthill moved all in for around 400,000. Korotki called.

Korotki: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Tuthill: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The dealer fanned {7-Spades}{k-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}, pushing Korotki into the lead, and leaving Tuthill drawing to a runner-runner straight or a two-outer. The {9-Hearts} on the turn eliminated all straight possibilities, and the {6-Hearts} on the river ended the hand entirely.

Tuthill exited in 16th place, while Korotki is back up to a million chips.

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Laurence Wolf was second to act, and raised to 27,000. Jewook Oh three-bet to 76,000 two spots to his left, and the action folded back to Wolf, who called.

The dealer fanned {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, Wolf led out for 145,000 and Oh made the call.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds}, Wolf fired out another 215,000, and Oh tanked for around two minutes before folding.

Wolf showed {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for top two pair and a queen-high flush draw.
