Luke Edwards - 10th Place
Luke Edwards - 10th Place

Action folded to Carless Boatwright's small blind, and he made it 180,000. Luke Edwards three-bet to 400,000 in the big blind, and Boatwright shipped all in.

"Can't fold now," Edwards said, moving his last few hundred thousand in.

Edwards: {a-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Boatwright: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

"Do you just have a pair every single time blind versus blind?" Edwards asked.

That pair stood up when the community cards were {2-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{2-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}.

Luke Edwards found himself outflopped.

Toby Kasser checked to Luke Edwards after a {3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop, and Edwards bet 85,000. Kasser, who had been in the big blind, shipped it for 330,000 more, and Edwards called without hesitation.

Edwards: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Kasser: {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The {7-Clubs} turn gave Edwards a double-gutshot straight draw.

"Give me a four," he said.

Another seven arrived though, and Edwards could only shake his head as he doubled his opponent up.

Jose Costa went from big stack to busto.
Jose Costa went from big stack to busto.

Clint Holes check-raised all in for almost 600,000 after a {2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop. Jose Costa, who had fired 100,000, went into the tank. He asked for a payout sheet. After looking it over and thinking for another minute or so, he called off the majority of his stack.

Holes: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Costa: {7-}{7-}

Holes had a huge lead, and the last two cards were {6-Clubs} and {j-Diamonds}, leaving the former chip leader with only about 100,000. He busted out shortly thereafter in a hand we didn't see.

Ari Engel fizzled out late in the tournament.

Luke Edwards opened to 60,000 under the gun, and action folded to Ari Engel, who three-bet to 130,000 out of the big blind. Edwards instantly announced all in, and Engel called.

Engel: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Edwards: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Edwards had the lead, and the board ran out {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{a-Spades}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Engel was forced to ship him about 300,000. The hand left Engel with about 200,000, and he busted a short time later in a hand we didn't catch.

Event 99: Kasser Jams on Engel

Ari Engel fired 62,000 into two opponents on a flop of {j-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. Toby Kasser was the only caller. A {4-Hearts} turn led to a bet of 120,000 from Engel, and Kasser immediately moved all in after getting a count. Kasser had a little more than double the bet, and Engel folded.

Kasser has about 700,000 now, and Engel has 540,000.

Blinds just went up to 15,000-30,000 with a 4,000 ante.
