Maio checked again on the {6-Clubs}, and he called 250,000 from Merulla. The {a-Clubs} arrived on the river, and Maio checked once more. Merulla bet 500,000, and Maio wasted little time before sliding his cards to the dealer one at a time.

Hand 42: Paredes opened his button to 250,000, Maio three-bet to 625,000 and Merulla eyeballed his stack before folding. Paredes laid his hand down as well and the pot was pushed to Maio.

Hand 43: Maio opened for a button raise to 250,000, Merulla folded his small blind away and Paredes flatted to take the {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop. Both payers checked down and the turn came {8-Spades}. Paredes checked to Maio, who bet 175,000. After Paredes called the river card came {10-Spades} and two checks later Maio revealed {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for the winner.

Hand 44: Merulla raised his button and claimed the blinds and antes.

Hand 45: Paredes raised to 250,000 holding the button and another uncontested pot was taken down with a button raise.

Hand 46: Maio folded his button and Merulla hesitated for a beat before limping in from the small blind. Paredes wasn't about to let a flop come for free, and he raised 320,000 to defend his big blind. The aggression worked and Merulla laid his hand down.

Hand 47: Merulla min-raised from the button and claimed an uncontested pot chock full of blinds and antes.

Hand 48: Paredes opened his button for 250,000, Maio folded from the small blind and Merulla squeezed his cards before flatting in the big blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Merulla checked to Paredes, who responded with a bet of 275,000. The c-bet worked wonders and Merulla folded his hand.

Paredes Has Merulla Outkicked

Hand 36: Anthony Maio raised to 245,000 from the small blind. Anthony Merulla defended his big blind. Maio bet 175,000 on the {2-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop, and he was called. A {9-Diamonds} turned, and Maio checked. Merulla bet 250,000, and it was Maio's turn to call. A {k-Hearts} fell, and Maio bet 275,000, and Merulla raised it up to 800,000. Maio called right away, and Merulla showed {k-}{10-} to take the pot with trips.

Hand 37: David Paredes received a walk.

Hand 38: Maio raised to 525,000 from the big blind after Paredes came in for a raise in for a call. Paredes folded.

Hand 39: Merulla got a walk.

Hand 40: Maio raised to 240,000 on the button, and David Paredes popped it to 775,000 from the big blind. He took down the pot.

Hand 41: Merulla min-raised the button, and Paredes was the only caller. Both checked the {10-Hearts}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop, and a {7-Clubs} arrived on the turn. Paredes fired 375,000 on the turn, and Merulla called. The river was a {5-Clubs}, and Paredes checked. Merulla took a peak at his opponent before checking.

Hands 30-35: Finding Some Flops

Level 32 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Hand 30: Paredes opened for 250,000 on the button and Maio flatted from the small blind, leaving Merulla to three-bet the action to 745,000. Paredes and Maio both took the hint and their hands were slid forward into the muck.

Hand 31: Maio opened with a button raise to 240,000 and Merulla defended his small blind with a three-bet to 635,000. Paredes folded and Maio snap-flatted to see the flop fall {8-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. With the action on Merulla, he eyed his stacks and cut out a bet of 400,000, which Maio called to see the {j-Clubs} fall on fourth street. Merulla took his time and counted out a bet of 825,000, which forced Maio to flip his cards up in the air and down into the muck.

Hand 32: Merulla opened his button to 250,000 and Paredes moved a raising stack forward, making it 760,000 to play. Maio got of the way and Merulla quickly made the call to bring a {q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop on board. Both players tapped the table and the turn card came {q-Spades}. Paredes checked for a second time, and Merulla did the same, with the {5-Clubs} completing the board on the river. Paredes made a bet of 600,000 on fifth street and Merulla snap-folded to send the pot one seat to is left.

Hand 33: Maio opened to 275,000 from the small blind and collected Merulla's big blind along with the antes.

Hand 34: Maio folded his button and Merulla limped in, with Paredes checking his option. On the {8-Spades}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop Merulla took his time before making a bet of 125,000, which was enough to earn the pot.

Hand 35: Merulla opened to 240,000 from the button, Paredes folded and Maio defended his big blind with a call. The flop came down {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and Maio bet 165,000, a wager which Merulla flatted. Both players checked the turn {4-Spades} and the river came {7-Spades}. Maio then led out for 385,000 and Merulla popped it to 1.3 million, which was enough to force the fold and take the pot.

Hand 27: David Paredes raised to 250,000 on the button, and Merulla defended his big blind. Two checks follow on the {q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop, and a {j-Hearts} hit the turn. Merulla bet 260,000, and Paredes called. Merulla slowed down with a check, and Paredes checked it back. Paredes took the pot with {a-}{10-} in the hole for queens and tens.

Hand 28: Maio limped the button, Merulla made it 400,000 from the small blind, and Maio was the only caller. Merulla bet 275,000 and took the pot on the {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{k-Hearts} flop.

Hand 29: Maio got another walk.
