The penultimate flight in the 2019 BPO Event #1: $600 Deepstack Kick-Off has now come to an end after 16 exciting levels of play. Flight Day 1e saw a total of 793 registration slips sold by the time late registration finished, and just 98 of those found a bag at the end of the night.

A well-known Borgata regular came out on top of the field in David Jackson who bagged a healthy stack of 734,000. Jackson took down his biggest pot of the night during the last level of play against Wen Zhang where the flop came down with two tens and a four. Jackson check-called with his pocket sevens and filled up on the turn where he check-raised, finding a call from Zhang. Jackson led out on the river and Zhang called again. Jackson showed his boat and Zhang mucked, sending a massive pot to Jackson late in the night.

Other players finding a stack on the larger side of things include Dan Wach (540,000), Shankar Pillai (482,000), Spencer Champlin (423,000), Aubrey Williams (373,000), Trevor Johnson (372,000), and Wen Zhang (322,000).

Some familiar faces that found a bag by nights end are Greg Fishberg (282,000), Dylan Murcott (257,000), Chris Leong (243,000), Yoon Choi (213,000), Michael Wang (161,000), Ronit Chamani (145,000), Will "The Thrill" Failla (135,000), and Blake Whittington (96,000).

The combined day 1a-f survivors will return on Friday, September 6 at noon local time to resume Day 2 play. A full list of day two chip counts and seating assignments will be posted as soon as they're available.
