Kassin Felts White

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Tad White
Tad White

On a flop of {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Tad White got all in against Charles Kassin, who had him well covered.

White's {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades} had flopped top pair with nut flush redraw, but had been out-flopped by Kassin's {a-Clubs}{2-Spades} for aces-up.

The {4-Diamonds} turn completed the flush for White and he was prepared to accept his double-up, but the {a-Hearts} on the river gave Kassin a boat and the pot, chipping up to about 29 million.

Tad White was busted in 21st place, earning $3,935.

Gordon Gets Kurtz

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Matthew Kurtz
Matthew Kurtz

After an open from Arnaldo "AG" Gordon on the button, Matt Kurtz (sb) moved in for 2,125,000. Avinash Koneru (bb) flatted, then Gordon jammed for 7,010,000 total.

Koneru gave it some thought, then mucked his {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}*.

Kurtz tabled {a-Spades}{7-Clubs} and was behind AG's {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}.

The board came {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and AG's baby pair held up to scoop the pot. Kurtz hit the rail in 18th place ($4,826).

*(If Koneru had called, he would have felted both opponents.)
