Pascal Zaklama Off to a Fast Start

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
Pascal Zaklama
Pascal Zaklama

Pascal Zaklama was eliminated in the first Almighty Stack flight late in the night in brutal fashion. His top set of sevens was flushed away by his opponents flush draw sending Zaklama to the rail.

He immediately hopped in the day 1b flight and he is off to a red hot start.

A player in early position raised to 1,200 and a player in middle position called. With the action on Zaklama in the cutoff he re-raised to 7,500.

Both players quickly folded and Zaklama flashed his {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} as he added the pot to his stack. He is now sitting behind one of the biggest stacks in the field here in the early levels with 240,000.

Zaklama certainly knows a thing or two about Borgata Poker tournament success as his largest career score came here in January's Borgata Winter Poker Open.

He bested the massive 5,130 in Event #1 $600 NLH $2,000,0000 GTD to take home a six figure payday of $329,695 and his first BPO trophy.

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
George Alberto
George Alberto

Daniel Williams raised to 2,600 from late position and George Alberto re-raised to 12,000 from the cutoff.

It folded back to Williams who called and they went heads up to the {q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop. Williams checked and Alberto tossed out a bet of 15,000.

Williams gave it a bit of thought before tossing his hand into the muck and Alberto took the pot.

Nooralian's Aces Get Flushed Away

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Steve Nooralian
Steve Nooralian

The under the gun player limped in and Steve Nooralian raised to 5,500 from the cutoff. The big blind called and the under the gun player called.

They went three handed to the {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop and the big blind fired out a bet of 6,000. The under the gun player called and Nooralian moved all in for about 40,000.

The big blind quickly folded and the under the gun player called putting Nooralian at risk.

Under the Gun: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}
Steve Nooralian: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

The {5-Hearts} hit the turn and the {7-Spades} completed the board improving the under the gun player to a queen high flush to send Nooralian to the rail.
