Silberstein All Smiles

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Ken Silberstein
Ken Silberstein

Ken Silberstein is a Borgata regular and tournament grinder who's been booking cashes here since his first reported way back in 2010 during the Winter Poker Open.

His best live cash was recorded here during the 2013 Fall Poker Open, when he finished fourth in the Championship event for just under $104,000. That was a final table stacked with local and traveling pros including the eventual winner Russell Crane, She Lok Wong, Tyng Low, Kyle Bowker, Scott Blackman, John Jolley, and Cliff Josephy.

Although he has yet to take home a Borgata trophy, he's on the felt grinding away with that one goal in mind.

Moving Time on Break

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Level 8 is done and players are getting a 15-minute break. During the break, the giant moving wall sections that divide the Borgata Event Center will be opened up and moved around, so they're hoping to get this done in the allotted time.

Back From Break

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Play has resumed following the break and there are still four more levels (2 hours) for late registration and re-entry in this flight.

The Borgata crew made short-work of reconfiguring the movable wall during the break. It's quite a sight to see!
