Tolbert Starting to Fade Away

The flop read and there was around 500,000 in the pot. Thomas Tolbert checked to Zach Gruneberg who bet 250,000 and Tolbert check-raised to 600,000.

Gruneberg instantly moved all in and Tolbert hit the tank. Ultimately Tolbert released his hand to the three-bet of Grunerberg who took down the pot, leaving Tolbert as the table short stack.

Gordon Takes a Hit from Staib

Arnaldo Gordon opened to 300,000 from the button and Derek Staib defended his big blind. The flop came down , Staib checked to Gordon who bet 300,000 and Staib check-called to see the river card.

The peeled off on the turn and again action checked to Gordon, he bet 550,000. Staib check-called once more and the hit the felt as a river card.

Staib reached for chips, pushing in 600,000 and Gordon thought for a few minutes but in the end, he released his hand and Staib took down the pot without showing a card.
