Eriquezzo Finds a Johnny for the Double

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Ryan Eriquezzo
Ryan Eriquezzo

Ryan Eriquezzo moved his remaining 52,000 all-in and found one caller, the two tabled their hands with Eriquezzo at risk of elimination.

Ryan Eriquezzo: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Opponent: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came down {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Eriquezzo's flopped set took the lead. A {4-Diamonds} turn and {8-Clubs} river changed nothing as Eriquezzo took down the pot for a complete double through his opponent.

Palma Scoops with Queen-High, Knocks One Out

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Nick Palma
Nick Palma

Nick Palma opened to 7,000 from middle position and two players called, including Hamid Izadi in the small blind. The dealer spread out {j-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} on the flop and action checked to Palma who bet 8,000.

The third runner in the pot shoved all in for their remaining 12,500 and Izadi folded to Palma who called. The all-in player showed {6-Spades}{5-Spades} for a straight draw and Palma tabled {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for queen-high and the current best hand.

A {j-Hearts} turn and {3-Diamonds} river changed nothing as Palma took down the pot with his queen, eliminating his opponent from the tournament.

"Just how I drew it out!" said Palma as he pulled in the pot.

Givens and Kachittavong Race for Stacks

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Will Givens and Soukha Kachittavong had all of their chips in the pot from the blinds, with Givens having the bigger stack of the two.

Soukha Kachittavong: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Will Givens: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The flop rolled out {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Kachittavong was still ahead with his ace-high. The {2-Diamonds} came down on the turn and Givens needed to hit to take down the pot. A lucky card came down on the river for Givens as a {j-Clubs} hit the felt, connecting with his hand as he took down the pot and sent Kachittavong out in the process of doing so.
