Welcome to the final day of the Borgata Spring Poker Open Online Series powered by partypoker US Network. Tonight, the week-long New Jersey series will wrap up the final four tournaments on the 17-event schedule.
One of those tournaments, which will be live reported in this blog, is the $1,060 buy-in Spring Poker Open #17 HIGH - $75,000 GTD NLH High Roller. The tournament starts players with 100,000 in chips and features 10 & 12-minute blind levels. There are unlimited re-entries for those interested in firing multiple bullets. Late registration will remain open through the end of Level 18.
We will also be offering live updates from the Spring Poker Open Event #1 PHASED finale and the $400 buy-in Spring Poker Open #16 HIGH: $100,000 GTD NLH Main Event.
Remember, as an added bonus all players participating in Spring Poker Open online events #1-17 will receive an entry into the online Invitational Freeroll (April 19, 2020). This freeroll will award the top 25 place finishers each a $600 land-based entry into the next land-based Borgata Poker Open kick-off event.

Action kicked off in the $1,060 High Roller with 15 runners, but straight away two more jumped in to bring the field up to 17 entries. With late registration open until the end of Level 18, that number is sure to grow considerably.

In Level 2 (200/400), "Whosyourdoddy" raised to 800 from the cutoff only to have "odo23" three-bet to 2,600 from the button.
Both blinds folded, "Whosyourdoddy" called, and the flop came down .
Action went check-check and repeated itself on the turn.
When the paired the board on the river, "Whosyourdoddy" bet 1,555 and "odo23" paid it off.

In Level 3 (250/500), "FerociousPanda" opened for 1,100 under the gun and "IReadYrSoul" three-bet to 3,804 next to act. "Turkeyleg" flatted from the button, both blinds folded, and "FerociousPanda" called to make it three-way action to the flop.
"FerociousPanda" checked, "IReadYrSoul" continued for 4,855, and that did the trick as both his opponents folded.

In Level 3 (250/500), "GrindUrGearz" raised to 1,250 from the lojack only to have "pay4medsch00l" three-bet to just over 5K from the hijack. Action folded back to "GrindUrGearz" and they called to see a flop.
Both players checked and then did the same on the turn.
When the completed the board on the river, "GrindUrGearz" bet 14,980, which was more than the pot, and "pay4medsch00l" called.
"GrindUrGearz" tabled the for a flopped straight and it was good as "pay4medsch00l" mucked his hand.
