"tc_ownz" Eliminated on the Bubble

With action in Level 30 (4,000/8,000) "tc_ownz" limped in from the cutoff. "dhimps20" completed the small blind and "MattEMenz" checked his option to take action three ways to a flop of {9-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. All three players checked.

The turn came {6-Spades} and "dhimps20" checked again. "MattEMenz" bet 17,760 and "tc_ownz" thought for a while before going all in for 58,800. "dhimps20" folded and "MattEMenz" called.

"tc_ownz": {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
"MattEMenz": {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

"tc_ownz" had found their turned straight no good to the flopped nuts of "MattEMenz" and the river {q-Clubs} completed the runout to result in their elimination in sixth place as the bubble finisher of the tournament.

Five players now remain and the tournament is officially in the money.

Final Table Chip Counts at Break

The remaining six players are on a five-minute break. Here are up-to-date chip counts at the end of Level 29 (3,500/7,000).

"CoachD" Eliminated by "dhimp20"

Actin was in Level 28 with blinds of 3,000/6,000 and "CoachD" got all in for their last 54,484 preflop in a blind-on-blind battle. They were in the small blind and were up against "dhimp20" in the big blind.

"CoachD": {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
"dhimp20: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

"CoachD" was unable to find any help as the board ran out {3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts} to result in their elimination in seventh place, bringing the tournament to the final table of six and reaching the money bubble as a result.

"Flawlessbinkage" Delivers a Pile; Eliminates "Bagels" In Eighth

Action was in Level 28 with blinds of 3,000/6,000 and "JaggyBoy" opened to 12,000 in the cutoff. "Flawlessbinkage" was on the button and called, as did "Bagels" out of the big blind.

Action checked around on the flop {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{k-Spades}, bringing the turn {3-Clubs} on board. "Bagels" led out with a bet of 21,000 and "Jaggyboy13" folded to put action onto "Flawlessbinkage," who called.

Action was then heads up as the river fell {6-Clubs} and "Bagels" bet another 40,500. "Flawlessbinkage" raised all in, putting "Bagels" to the test for their last 73,000.

After some thought, "Bagels" decided not to commit the remainder of their chips and the pot was sent to "Flawlessbinkage," who was now over 300,000 after taking down the pot.

Moments later, "Flawlessbinkage" finished off "Bagels" to take their stack just shy of 400,000 and bring the tournament down to seven players, resulting in hand-for-hand play among the two remaining tables.

"ItsOKman" Knocked Out in Ninth

"ItsOKman" Eliminated by "Jaggyboy13"
"ItsOKman" Eliminated by "Jaggyboy13"

In Level 27 (2,500/5,000) "Jaggyboy13" opened the action with a raise to 10,000. "ItsOKman" defended their big blind and the flop came {k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

"ItsOKman" bet 22,500, leaving their last 7,000 back, and "Jaggyboy13" raised. "ItsOKman" called off the remaining chips and cards were turned up.

"ItsOKman": {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
"Jaggyboy13": {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

"ItsOKman" found their nut flush draw up against "Jaggyboy13's" flopped top two pair and was unable to fill up as the turn {2-Spades} and river {4-Spades} completed the runout, giving "Jaggyboy13" a full house en route to the knockout, leaving eight players remaining in the tournament.

Two eliminations are needed to reach the final table; three are needed to reach the money.

The flop fell {2-Spades}{9-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and "Jaggyboy13" checked. "harveyblicks" made another pot-sized continuation-bet for 30,000, and "Jaggyboy13" thought for a few moments before check-jamming for 101,632.

"harveyblicks" thought for about 10 seconds and then folded, resulting in "Jaggyboy13" earning the pot with the flop check-shove.

"MattEMenz" Takes It on the River

Midway through Level 25 with blinds at 1,800/3,600, there was a pot with 21,600 in the middle on a board of {6-Hearts}{8-Spades}{k-Spades}{7-Hearts}. Action was three ways with "dhimp20" checking in the small blind to put action onto "MattEMenz" in the big blind, who bet 15,984.

"TheSims" was the final player in the hand and called from the cutoff before "dhimp20" folded, taking action heads up to the river {10-Spades}.

"MattEMenz" bet again, this time for 14,249, and "TheSims" quickly folded for the pot to be sent to "MattEMenz"

"Bagels" Check-Raises the Turn

There were less than two minutes left in Level 24 with blinds at 1,600/3,200 as action was heads up between "Bagels" in the big blind and "Flawlessbinkage," who was on the button.

The board read {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and "Bagels" checked. "Flawlessbinkage" made a bet of 9,600 and "Bagels" put in a check-raise. "Flawlessbinkage" immediately hit the fold button and their cards disappeared into the virtual muck, earning "Bagels" for a decent increase to their stack.

Despite the lost pot, "Flawlessbinkage" has continued to amass chips and is the chip leader in the tournament by a wide margin with 12 players still remaining.

"GiantGenius" Eliminated by "FlawlessBinkage"; "Turkeyleg" Cooked

"GiantGenius" Eliminated by "Flawlessbinkage"

With action in Level 23 (1,400/2,800), there was a single-raised pot to take action heads up after "Flawlessbinkage" defended their big blind to a cutoff open from "GiantGenius."

Action checked through the flop {4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} before stacks got in the middle on the turn {q-Spades}.

"GiantGenius": {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades}
"Flawlessbinkage": {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

"Flawlessbinkage" had flopped bottom set and was out in front and poised for the knockout. However, "GiantGenius" had outs to a set of aces as well as the remaining nine spades in the deck that would improve them to the nut flush. None would hit as the river {10-Diamonds} completed the runout, sending GiantGenius to the rail in 14th place.

Moments afterward, "Turkeyleg" was also eliminated from the same table in 13th place to bring the tournament down to two tables of six players each.
