In the final event of the 2020 Borgata Winter Poker Open - Event #25: $300 Deepest Stack NLH - the final six players began discussing an adjusted payout deal in the late-night hours. The stacks were counted down and it didn't take long for a deal to be struck.

Daniel Gordon took first place for the lion's share of the prize pool earning $17,838. Gordon and Ryan Dodd were the top two stacks and they agreed to run one hand for the trophy.

Dodd came out on top earning his second Borgata Poker Open trophy and $17,431 for his runner-up finish.

Dodd Alone at the Top

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Ryan Dodd
Ryan Dodd

Ryan Dodd has distanced himself well out in front of the field here in Event #25 as we approach the money bubble. He is now sitting behind a mountain of 1,500,000 and looks to be the only player over the million chip mark.

Dodd already holds one Borgata Poker Open title since bursting onto the live tournament scene and he's all alone at the top of the chip counts.

There are plenty of familiar faces also still in the hunt including 14 time WSOP Circuit ring winner Maurice Hawkins, John McGuinness, Joey Galazzo and Rickey Lee.

Rossetti Coolered by The Master

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Men "The Master" Nguyen
Men "The Master" Nguyen

Rick Rossetti was all-in preflop holding pocket queens, only to run into the pocket aces of Men "The Master" Nguyen. The board was useless for Rossetti and he was felted.

Nguyen is building a big stack early here in the final trophy event of the 2020 BWPO. He already has one trophy from this series, from Event #4: $400 Saturday Series Deep Stack NLH, where he earned $50,000 for first place in a three-way deal at the final table. This is his first Borgata Open Series title.

Nguyen has more than $11 million in reported tournament earnings and currently ranks fourth on California's all time money list. He's apparently decided he's conquered the west coast and now he's come east to make his mark on this side of the country. He has several wins in Connecticut and at the US Poker Championships in Atlantic City back in the day, but this is his first win east of the Mississippi since 2008.

Eriquezzo Going For Five

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Ryan Eriquezzo
Ryan Eriquezzo

Ryan Eriquezzo is already on the board with four cashes during this 2020 Borgata Winter Poker Open. In Event #1: $600 Deep Stack NLH Kick-Off, he finished 262nd out of 4,365 runners for $1,409. Then it was on to Event #10: $300 Deepest Stack NLH, where he finished 15th for $2,353. At the final table of Event #14: $1,090 SixMax, he came up with a fourth place finish for $34,365. Then he put together a deep run in Event #20: WPT BWPO Championship, finishing 76th for $8,735.

He's not wearing the pink hoodie he sported during previous events, so perhaps he's looking to change it up today, but after pocketing more than $45,000 this series, it will be interesting to see if he can go deep again in this one-day event.
