Day 1c of Event #1: $600 Deepstack Kick-Off at the Borgata Winter Poker Open drew a total of 475 entries bringing the combined Event #1 total to 1,438 and counting.

There were 75 day 1c players moving on to Day 2 and Rajasekar Govidan put the biggest stack in the bag with 456,000. Brownie "BW" Garrett was right on his heels with 410,000 after scooping the largest pot of the night in one of the final hands.

Garrett was holding a set of nines against the flopped two pair of David Jackson when all of the chips went in the middle with Jackson all but drawing dead.

Some of the other players to bag big were "The General" (295,000), Kevin Kenkelen (256,000), Michel Lawson 242,000, Ted Lawson (235,000) and Scott Einiger (220,000)

There are plenty of other familiar faces advancing and that list includes Leonard "LJ" Sande (154,000) Peter Campo (132,000), Vinny Pahuja (127,000), Ryan Hohner (107,000) and David Jackson (77,000).

The combined day 1a-e survivors will return to the Event Center on Friday, January 17 at 11 a.m. to resume Day 2 play.

That wraps it up for the third of five starting flights and we are expecting a massive turnout for the final two flights.
