Three All-in and Calls

The hand after, Forbes made it 500 on the button and Pulusani shoved for 3,800. Forbes confirmed the amount, cut out calling chips, and then made the call.

The flop came {7-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{4-Spades} for Forbes to find a seven to pair up with but keep Pulusani ahead. The turn was the {a-Spades} for Forbes to pick up the flush draw but the river completed the board with the {2-Hearts} for Pulusani to double up.

Stolt Takes First Game

Arian Stolt
Arian Stolt

The board read {6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{q-Spades}{k-Hearts} when Matthew Emmel bet 2,000 and Arian Stolt shoved with the bigger stack on the button. Emmel called for the 10,800 he had left.

Matthew Emmel: {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Arian Stolt: {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Emmel had a pair of queens but Stolt had two pair so Emmel needed a ten to stay alive.

But the river completed the board with the {2-Clubs} for the first game to go Stolt's way, the players went for a short break before starting their second game.

Jeffrey Hong completed his button and Christopher Abela opted to check.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, Abela check-shoved with the bigger stack after Hong bet 1,000. Hong contemplated for a while and then made the call for the 12,400 he had behind.

Jeffrey Hong; {q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

They both had a flush draw with Hong the better of it with the higher diamond card but Abela had also flopped a pair of fives.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} which didn't change things and neither did the {6-Hearts}. First game goes to Abela and they both agreed to take a 10-minute break before resuming play.
