O'Hara Swiftly Builds a Stack

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The board showed {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and there was approximately 65,000 in the pot. Jonathan Dokler threw in a bet and Ian O'Hara moved all in, totaling 121,000.

Dokler hit the tank but in the end, he elected to call and O'Hara turned over {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, giving him an over pair of ladies. Dokler mucked and O'Hara catapulted up the leader board.

Volpe and Sternberg Put Their Chips into the Middle

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Alan Sternberg moved all in for starting stack and Paul Volpe called for his 88,000 stack.

Paul Volpe: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}
Alan Sternberg: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Volpe was dominated by the ace-nine of Sternberg and the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop did not increase his chances of winning the hand. A {7-Diamonds} turn changed all of that, shifting the lead to Volpe who now had Sternberg drawing to a nine to win the pot.

A {10-Clubs} river cemented the pot for Volpe as he found a complete double through Sternberg.

Wong Sits Down, Finds a Double

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The flop showed {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and there was around 40,000 in the pot when Jerry Wong moved all in. Carlos Chadha-Villamarin called the 79,000 all-in and the two turned over their hands with Wong at risk.

Jerry Wong: {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Carlos Chadha-Villamarin: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The {4-Clubs} turn and {7-Diamonds} missed Chadha-Villamarin and Wong took down the pot, doubling through his opponent.
