Colache and Dunst Turn Over Monsters

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Tony Dunst
Tony Dunst

The board showed {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and there was around 30,000 in the pot. Renata Colache bet 17,500 and Tony Dunst took a brief moment to think.

Ultimately Dunst elected to move all in and Colache snap-called for her 98,500 stack. Dunst tabled {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, giving him four ducks, what should have been more than enough to scoop any pot.

Colache smiled and slammed over {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for a higher four of a kind, putting a face of disbelief on the face of Dunst as almost half his chips moved into the stack of Colache and her higher quads.

Stout Shoots Kessler Down

Level 11 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Allen Kessler
Allen Kessler

Matthew Stout raised to 3,500 from the cutoff and Allen Kessler three-bet by putting almost his whole stack in. Stout responded with an insta-shove and Kessler snap-called for the rest of his stack.

Allen Kessler: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Matthew Stout: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} to not help Kessler as he was eliminated.

"I was so sad to be picking these up with Allen in the big blind, didn't think I'd get action," Stout commented.

Kachittavong Out of Championship

Level 11 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Soukha Kachittavong
Soukha Kachittavong

The free-rolling Soukha Kachittavong has busted out of the Championship event, despite his best efforts. He was free-rolling the event, thanks to the Borgata's promotion where a free $3,500 seat is awarded based on a random drawing from players who entered on their web site.

With $1.5 million in tournament earnings, he was a good shot at parlaying that free entry into a payday, but it was not to be. He's likely to turn up in the $5,100 High Roller later today.

Super Survivor Siegel Out Early

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Eric Siegel
Eric Siegel

Eric Siegel has been crushing the survivors during this series, but could not put together a deep run in the Championship event. His final hand was ace-king and he ran smack into pocket Aces.

He's not re-entering the Championship, but rather has joined Event #21: $230 DeepStack NLH, which is running just inside the Event Center entrance.

Datashvili Out

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Jackob Datashvili
Jackob Datashvili

Jackob Datashvili won the 2019 Summer Poker Open Championship event and $276,129 last July, so he knows what it's like to battle through a field of this size and caliber of player. That final table included some tough players, Matthew Cohen, Kenny Huynh, and Matt Marafioti.

Unfortunately for Datashvili, today did not start out well and he's already busted out. He was headed for the door with a hand full of cash, so a re-entry is expected in his near future.

Gaspard's Boat Sunk by Bigger Boat

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Jean "Prince" Gaspard
Jean "Prince" Gaspard

Jean "Prince" Gaspard got his chips in holding pocket sixes on a flop of {q-}{q-}{6-} for sixes-full. His opponent had pocket kings for kings-up. Then another Queen on the turn gave his opponent Queens-full-of-Kings for a bigger full boat, sinking Gaspard's. He was left looking for the case six on the river, which failed to appear.

Gaspard was busted and is going to take a break before deciding whether or not to re-enter the Championship or wait for Event #22: $5,100 High Roller (7-handed) NLH that starts at 5 p.m.
