Facing a raise from under the gun, Luiz Constantino just called from the big blind. They went heads-up to a flop of K85 and Constantino checked. His opponent continued with a bet of 2,000 and Constantino called to see the 5 on the turn.

Constantino checked again and his opponent fired a second bullet of 4,000. Constantino still called and the 10 peeled off on the river. Constantino checked for the third time and his opponent dropped in a bet of 12,000. Constantino threw in multiple time banks as he started to ponder his decision before making the call.

His opponent flipped over A7 for a missed flush draw while Constantino held 33 for the only pair in the hand.

Gomes Recovers Some Early Losses

There was a raise to 1,600 from under the gun and Danilo Gomes defended from the big blind. The flop came J74 and Gomes check-called a bet of 1,600 from his opponent.

The turn was the 3 and Gomes checked again. His opponent announced a bet of 6,500 and Gomes stuck around for the 10 on the river. Gomes checked once more and his opponent checked it back. Gomes tabled J8 for top pair and that was good enough to win the pot.

There was a raise to 1,500 from early position which was called by Jose Santana on his left and David Miscikowski on the button. The flop came Q87 and Santana was the first to stab at the pot with a bet of 2,500. Miscikowski called and the other player folded.

The turn was the 3 and both players tapped the table to see the A on the river. Santana led out with a bet of 3,000 only to have Miscikowski raise to 15,000. Santana looked him up and Miscikowski tabled A8 for two pair to claim the pot.
