Day 1 of the 2016 Cash Game Festival London has been a huge success with lots of action and fun throughout the day and evening. More than 10 tables are currently in action, with some of the players expressing they plan to play through the night.

The festival welcome players at 5:00 p.m. with welcome drinks where many old faces from previous Cash Game Festivals got a chance to catch up along with meeting some new faces as well.

Shortly later, the first televised feature table kicked off, which featured Cash Game Festival co-founder Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk, Cash Game Festival veteran Jack Fenton, and SlotsMillion pro Maret Komarova. As will be the case every day throughout the festival, the first table was low stakes at £1/£2 no-limit hold'em. Komarova was one of the biggest winners on the feature table thanks to her pocket aces holding in a hand that saw seven players to the flop.

By the time the first feature table ended, there were 15 no-limit hold'em and pot-limit Omaha tables in play.

After a short break, the second televised feature table began with stakes at £2/£5. France's Julien Rouxel was the big winner on the feature table. He bought in for £1,500 on the uncapped table and walked away with four-times this amount for about £6,000.

As the weekend approaches, many more players are expected in action tomorrow. Players with the hospitality package will be competing off the felts in a darts competition at Flight Club Darts at 2:00 p.m.

Many other players will likely be enjoying the delights of London and of course at the casino playing some ring game action. Live streaming is scheduled at lower stakes at 5:30 p.m. and higher stakes at 8:30 p.m. on a 20 minute delay.
