Welcome to Day 2 of the 2017 Cash Game Festival Bulgaria
Welcome to Day 2 of the 2017 Cash Game Festival Bulgaria at Platinum Casino in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria.
It is hard to determine when Day 1 ended and Day 2 began with games running to the wee hours of the morning including seven tables as late as 5 a.m.
Others decided to get some rest on the first day to prepare for the second day and beyond of the poker festival. Those with the hospitality package met at 1 p.m. for a trip to the Stratsin Winery to enjoy an afternoon with snacks while tasting six different types of wine.
Among those were in attendance were Cash Game Festival co-founder Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk, Petra Poola and Kadi Kask who came via a Slowball car from Finland just in time to make the trip. If you aren't familiar with Slowball, it was an art on wheels festival where old cars were renovated and then transformed into pieces of art by Northern European artists before taking a trip last week through Estonia, Sweden and Finland.
Yesterday's poker action was a huge success with eight cash game tables full of action running for hours a time. While there were many big winners thoughout the poker room, it was United Kingdom's James Simms winning the biggest amount of the early televised feature table, while local Bulgarian Miroslav Georgiev won even more on the later televised feature table.
Cash Game Festival host Brandon Allen will once again host two televised feature tables with co-hosts popping in and out of the booth. The first table kicks off at 5:40 p.m. local time and will be streamed on a 20-minute delay with stakes at €1/€2 no-limit on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel as well as will be broadcasted across multiple media outlets including PokerNews.
Later in the day, there will also be a higher-stakes no-limit hold'em televised feature table on a 20-minute delay at 8:40 p.m. local time.
The PokerNews Live Reporting team is on hand until at least when the second feature table is completed to report on all the excitement during Day 2.

Early Action
While many players were at the winery, some others decided it was a good time to get busy trying to win money and have a good time on the poker tables.
There is currently action at both €1/€2 and €2/€5 no-limit hold'em with more tables including the €1/€2 no-limit feature table expected to open up soon.
James SImms Seeking Another Big Feature Table Win
The early Day 2 feature table has just kicked off with stakes at €1/€2 no-limit hold'em.
United Kingdom's James Simms is headlining the table in Seat 6. Yesterday, Simms who is attending his first poker festival outside his home country, managed to secure the biggest win on the early feature table.
Outside of Simms, there is a mix of Cash Game Festival regulars and those attending their first festival.
In Seat 1 is United Kingdom's Peter Cox, who is now attending his third Cash Game Festival after attending festivals in London and Malta early this year.
Poland's Mateusz Slusarczyk in Seat 2 has appeared on a feature table before and isn't nervous. He joked that his favorite hand is three-two. We will see if he tries to steal a hand with this usually bad combination of opening hands. This is Slusarczyk's second Cash Game Festival. He won a package online late last year to the 2016 Cash Game Festival Tallinn. He shared that he came to Cash Game Festival Bulgaria thanks to the great experience he had in the Estonian capital.
Poland's Daniel Palys is sitting next to his countrymate in Seat 3. Unlike Slusarcyk, Palys has never appeared on a feature table. However, he isn't nervous and his favorite hand is a little better sharing he loves ten-eight suited.
Local Bulgarian poker player Emil Petkov is in Seat 4. He has been playing poker for 16 years and loves getting pocket aces like many players do.
Russia's Azat Zlayaev is attending his first Cash Game Festival and is seated in Seat 7. He qualified to the festival via a campaign at Betsson and is now looking to score big in front of his friends on the feature table.
Bulgaria's Ivelin Iliev in Seat 8 rounds out the action. He loves pocket jacks and is a little nervous about his first televised poker experience.

Action Around the Room
Currently, there are four tables, all no-limit hold'em running around the poker room. Two tables are running at €1/€2 no-limit hold'em including the televised feature table. In addition, there is a €1/€3 table and a €2/€5 table in action

Kristiansen Making the Most of Her Time in Town and Helps Open Table #5
A fifth table with action at €1/€2 just opened which included Norway's Tove Janne Kristiansen. There are now five tables, all in no-limit hold'em with stakes ranging up to €2/€5. This number is expected to more than double within the next few hours.
Kristiansen came to Sunny Beach, Bulgaria with some friends on a holiday and learned about the Cash Game Festival Bulgaria after she was already in town.
So far so good for Kristiansen as not only did she notch a bit of a profit during yesterday's action but she also found herself on top of the promotional roulette leaderboard where the top prizes include packages to the Cash Game Festival London taking place Sept. 20-24.
How it works is simple. Every player on the table at any time during the festival when a new hour turns will receive a coupon good for 25 play chips at the roulette wheel. Players can combine chips with other players or even decide to purchase the coupons from other players.
Players then convert the coupons into chips and try to run it up on a promotional roulette wheel which will be open each day from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m. and hosted by Cash Game Festival vlogger Maxime Roseau.
The player that accumulated the most chips by 1 a.m. on Monday will win a trip for the Cash Game Festival London which includes flight, accommodation and a £500 stake.

More Hold'em!
Another €1/€2 no-limit hold'em table just opened making it six tables in action.
We plan to interview Platinum Casino poker room manager Miroslav Iliev later in the festival, but he was very pleased with the early action.
"We are very happy," said Iliev. "Six cash game tables at 7 p.m. is obviously very good,"
While at some casinos 7 p.m. might already start becoming prime time, it is a little different in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria where the weather is perfect this time of year and many players wanting to enjoy every bit of sunshine until the sun goes down.
