Welcome to the final day of the 2017 Cash Game Festival Dublin at the Village Green Card Club.

The festival is ending literally in a storm as the first hurricane in decades is descending upon the Emerald Isle. However, this hasn't slowed down the poker action with poker action running through the night with reports from players including Karolis that they were playing as late as 1 p.m. from the day before.

The early feature table will kick off at 6 p.m. BST with action at €1/€2 no-limit hold'em with stakes likely remaining the same at 9 p.m. Betsafe Ambassador Monika "HeyMonia" Zukowicz, who has now been at her fourth Cash Game Festival this year will be among the players at the earlier table.

You check out the action of the televised feature tables in our PokerNews coverage by clicking on the Live Stream tab as well as on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel once the action kicks off. In the meantime, you can head to the Twitch channel to see some of the action from the previous three days.

Earlier today, some of the players were planning to attend a countryside tour. However, due to the weather, instead the players headed to an Irish pub for some pints of Guinness and to watch some European football as well as Gaelic Football.

Our live coverage will kick off at approximately 5:30 p.m. Stay tuned at PokerNews as we report the latest and greatest news from the 2017 Cash Game Festival Dublin.

The €1/€2 no-limit hold'em feature table has just begun featuring betsafe Ambassador Monika "HeyMonia" Zukowicz.

Also at the table is Scotland's Kenneth Robert James, who won a package to the Cash Game Festival Dublin when he popped into Aspers Casino last month during the Cash Game Festival London while his girlfriend was shopping,

Kevin Malone Coming Back to Defend his Lead

For the second time in Cash Game Festival history, the tour is awarding a trophy to the player that wins the most big blinds during any of the 10 feature table sessions.

Currently, local Irish poker player Kevin Malone is in the lead after winning €1,100 or 550 big blinds during a €1/€2 pot-limit Omaha feature table match on Day 2.

Malone will be back for the final televised feature table at 9 p.m. The game has been switched from €1/€2 no-limit hold'em to €1/€2 pot-limit Omaha.

As of right now, Malone is the heavy favorite to win and he will be doing his best to make sure nobody catches up while he is on the table. He shared he might have to alter his play.

"It will be nice to play the final session and have a chance to defend my lead if someone gets close to me," said Malone. If someone is close, I might have to do some extra gambling!"

Look Back at Previous Feature Table Big WInners

Right now, Kevin Malone has the lead in the televised feature table contest after winning €1,100 or 550 big blinds at a €1/€2 pot-limit Omaha table. If he holds on, he will win a trophy along with a hospitality package for two players to the Cash Game Festival Tallinn at Olympic Park Casino on Nov. 15-19 valued at €400.

Yesterday's late feature table witnessed Emmett Hegarty winning €2,000 at a €2/€5 no-limit hold'em table or 400 big blind. While this was the most cash thus far this festival won at a feature table, it falls 150 big blinds short of what Malone won.

Here is a look at the eight big feature table winners during the festival thus far:

Karol Wojciechowski Pads His Wallet

The first feature table just ended and it was Karol Wojciechowski nailing down more profit than any of his opponents after winning €502.

While this is impressive enough for a 2 1/2 hour session, it won't earn him the Cash Game Festival trophy as his 251 big blinds in profit is well behind the 550 big blinds pulled down by Kevin Malone on Day 2.

The table has now been converted to a side table while a €1/€2 pot-limit Omaha table is being set-up. Malone will be competing and trying his best to keep Mark Buckley and others from catching up to him on the last feature table of the day.

Buckley Hoping to Win All of the Chips and the Trophy

Mark Buckley
Mark Buckley

Kevin Malone is seated at the €1/€2 pot-limit Omaha feature table, which is the final televised table of the festival, looking to defend his lead in the feature table contest. As earlier mentioned, he won 550 big blinds earlier in the festival, which is currently looking good to win a trophy and a hospitality package for two to the Cash Game Festival Tallinn on Nov. 15-19 at Olympic Park Casino.

One player that may get in his way is Mark Buckley who braved the oncoming hurricane to try to win the trophy for himself.

"I plan to win it all," shared Buckley while having a drink before the action began. He followed this up to make sure he knew we meant that he was implying that his plan was to sweep that table and take everyone's chips.

Since players can keep reloading, this isn't possible, but if a few people are gambling more than usual, the trophy could wind up in someone else's hands than Malone's.
