Day 2 of the 2017 Cash Game Festival Dublin has built off the huge success from its first day with nonstop ring game action running all day long.

Players that won a Cash Game Festival Dublin package or purchased the hospitality package were treated to an afternoon of football golf at an aptly named venue called Footsie Golf.

Today was Omaha day on the feature table. The first televised feature table was a low-stakes €1/€2 PLO affair. Kevin Malone booked the biggest win at the table to walk away winning €1,100 or exactly 550 big blinds. Thus far in the festival, this is the most big blinds won by any player at a feature table to give him the lead in the Cash Game Festival contest for a trophy and a hospitality package for two.

Irish poker legend Andy Black was the biggest winner during the second feature table after stakes moved up to €2/€5 pot-limit Omaha after booking a profit of €1,553. The game continued after the stream ended.

Welcome to PokerNews' live coverage of Day 2 of the 2017 Cash Game Festival Dublin at the Village Green Card Club.

The festival kicked off yesterday with welcome drinks. Instead of the usual champagne affair, in true Irish-style, players were enjoying pints of Guinness. The action peaked at five tables running simultaneously on Day 1, which tied a venue-record for the most cash game tables running at the same time. Festival organizers believe the record will be shattered as the weekend approaches.

The first televised feature table today will be €1/€2 pot-limit Omaha at 6:00 p.m. local time broadcasted on a 20-minute delay before the table switches up to higher stakes to €2/€5 pot-limit Omaha at 9:00 p.m. Both tables will be a mix of Cash Game Festival veterans, Village Green Card Club regulars and recreational players competing for the first time under the lights and cameras.

As was the case yesterday, Cash Game Festival Co-Founder Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk will once again be hosting the televised stream. You will be able to check out the action in our PokerNews coverage and at the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel.

Players with the hospitality package enjoy a friendly football-golf competition at Footsie Golf. Just as it sounds, this involved both football and golf in one game. PokerNews will announce the winner later in the coverage as well as share photos of the outing.

The PokerNews Live Reporting Team will be providing updates with some 2017 Cash Game Festival London throughout the day with the blog coverage beginning at around 5:30 p.m before the televised feature table begins.
