Day 2 of the Cash Game Festival Gibraltar at Sunborn Casino has been a huge success. The casino has tied a new record with six cash game tables. The record is expected to be eclipsed over the weekend by both festival organizers and casino staff.

The day began for players with the hospitality package with a whale and dolphin site seeing boat tour. Players that attended shared that they enjoyed some wild waves on the sea while being entertained by these large sea animals.

The poker action was as hot as the weather outside. United Kingdom's Ryan Davey was the big winner on the early feature table. He took a break from playing and instead joined Cash Game Festival commentator Brandon Allen for the entire stream on the late feature table which was dominated by Norway's Knut Rysstad.

Most of the action throughout the day has been in no-limit hold'em. However, it wasn't too much of a surprise when a Sviten Special table opened by some of the festival's regulars including Janar Kokk, Elora Kask, Peter La Terra, Veli-Matti Puumala and Sampsa "Sampson" Nyysti.

Joining them was Betsafe Ambassador Monika Zukowicz, who tried out the game for the first time. She was unable to experience any beginners luck and after losing a small amount went back to her bread and butter game of no-limit hold'em.

Tomorrow is expected to be the biggest and most exciting day thus far in the festival with the weekend approaching. Stay tuned at PokerNews as the action unfolds at the 2017 Cash Game Festival Gibraltar.

Casino Record Tied!

A new £1/£2 no-limit hold'em table just opened. With the new table, there are six in action including the £2/£2 Sviten Special table and the £2/£5 no-limit hold'em televised feature table.

This ties a new casino record when during a big poker tournament series they reached six cash game tables. Whether the record is beaten tonight or tomorrow is yet to be determined, however, it does appear very likely the record will be smashed sometime during the Cash Game Festival Gibraltar.

Casino Manager at Sunborn Casino Georg Tsnoulis shared with PokerNews that a new record is approaching for the most cash games every ran at the casino at the same time. There are now five tables running, which ties yesterday's maximum and is one shy of the six tables that were the most hosted by the casino in the past.

Even if the record isn't set today, it is just about as close to a slam dunk as possible it will be smashed over the weekend.

Ryan Davey Joins the Commentary as the Second Feature Table Kicks Off

The stakes have moved up for the second feature table to £2/£5 no-limit hold'em. Here is a look at who will appear on it. Brandon Allen is once again the host and will be joined by Ryan Davey who was the biggest winner on the earlier feature table.

You can check out the action on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel and here in our coverage by clicking on the Live Streaming tab.

Greg Campbell was on the early feature table and makes his return in the bigger game in Seat 1.

Norway's Knut Rysstad has been playing poker for over a decade and is seated in Seat 3. He has never appeared on the feature table and he shared he wasn't nervous to appear on one for the first time.

Estonia's Feodor Eksi is one chair over in Seat 4. He is a relatively new player only having played poker for three years.

Andres was a fun player to watch from the Cash Game Festival Tallinn. He makes his return to the feature table in Seat 5. We didn't get a chance to catch up with him before he began, but if Tallinn is any indicator, he is a player to watch.

Yesterday's big winner Dom was on the early feature table and decided to stick around for the bigger table in Seat 7. United Kingdom's Naveed Khan rounds things off in Seat 8. He is a 51-year old trader living in the United Kingdom.

Sviten Special Returns

A table of €2/€2 Sviten Special just opened up. If you have been following the Cash Game Festival in the past, you already know that this is a staple game at each festival that you won't see at most casinos around the world. The game combines a unique mix of both pot-limit Omaha and five-card draw.

At the table are Cash Game Festival veteran Peter La Terra, "Go Big or Go Home" prop bet loser Janar Kokk, Kokk's wife Elora Kask, Finnish comedian Veli-Matti Puumala, his friend Sampsa "Sampson" Nyysti who was also at the Cash Game Festival Tallinn and Monika Zukowicz who is in Gibraltar on a package from Betsafe and sharing her experiences on Snapchat and social media.
