Welcome to Day 4 of the 2017 Cash Game Festival Gibraltar in the Aurora Ballroom at Sunborn Casino.

Yesterday was the biggest day thus far in the festival with a new casino record being set for the second day straight thanks to eight cash game tables running simultaneously. This smashed the previous record before the festival of eight tables and festival organizers are optimistic the record might be broken again today.

It was also a great day at the poker tables in terms of the variety of games. In addition to the many no-limit hold'em tables, there was also action in pot-limit Omaha, "ROE" or round of each of NLHE and PLO, dealer's choice, Sviten Special and pineapple open-face Chinese poker.

For many players, today began with a pool party on the seventh and top floor of the yacht housing the casino and hotel. Players were sharing drinks, laughs, sun and water with friends they made on the tables during the festival and also had a chance to meet new people.

During the party, a few Scandinavian players were talking about a potential prop bet involving the outcome of Sweden vs. Finland in the Ice Hockey World Championship taking place tonight. The PokerNews Live Reporting team will keep tabs on whether any interesting side bets take place.

As is usually the case, Brandon Allen will host two televised feature tables with co-hosts popping in and out of the booth. The first table kicks off at 5:40 p.m. CEST (4:40 p.m. BST) and will be streamed on a 20-minute delay with stakes at €1/€2 no-limit on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel as well as will be broadcasted across multiple media outlets including PokerNews.

One of the players confirmed for the earlier feature table is Ryan Davey (pictured). He shared with PokerNews that he plans to give away 15 percent of his profit to one lucky stream viewer. So it is definitely worth checking in considering he has booked a profit in three of his four televised poker sessions during Cash Game Festivals.

Later in the day, a higher-stakes £2/£5 pot-limit Omaha televised feature table on a 20-minute delay at 8:40 p.m. CEST (7:40 p.m. BST) is planned.

After the sun goes down, players are invited to attend a VIP party nearby the casino at 11 p.m.

The PokerNews Live Reporting is on hand to report on all the excitement during Day 2 complete with recaps, quotes, pictures and videos.
