2017 Cash Game Festival London
Day 3 Completed
Day 3 of the 2017 Cash Game Festival London has been a huge success as it set a new 2017 record for the number of ring-game tables running simultaneously with 23 tables running at peak times. The overall Cash Game Festival record was also in London in 2016, when 28 tables were running at the same time.
Cash Game Festival regular Jack Fenton was the star of Day 3 winning the most money on the televised feature tables with around £1,200 profit in £2/£5 no-limit hold'em. Those watching the commentary not only got to hear the usual host Brandon Allen, but also local 888poker Ambassador Sin Menis Melin join him. PokerNews will be sharing some thoughts about the Cash Game Festival from Melin during tomorrow's coverage.
The day's off the felt activity sent players off to Jamie's Italian for a VIP dinner. Players returned from the dinner after more than two hours of being wined and dined with big smiles on their faces.
Tomorrow night players with the hospitality can take a break from the felts to enjoy some beer pong on the house.
Cash Game Festival regular Jack Fenton was the big winner on the later feature table. Early on, Fenton shipped a pot for over £2,000 when his pocket tens completed a straight on a board.
Fenton shared he enjoyed playing on the feature table and would stay playing even with the cameras off until a Sviten Special table opened up. A table is likely to open shortly with there now four players interested.
The Aspers Casino poker room has been buzzing with action all evening long. Earlier there were 23 tables in play, which set a new 2017 record for the Cash Game Festival.
Right now there are 22 tables running across a variety of games including no-limit hold'em, dealer's choice pot-limit Omaha and Sviten Special.
Sin Menis Melin joined Brandon Allen in the commentary booth. Melin briefly left to get her drink filled while Allen is now doing a shot every time €5 is donated on the stream.
You can watch and listen to the action on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel or here on PokerNews.
Last night there was a Sviten Special table that lasted past 6 a.m. that featured Cash Game Festival co-founder Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk and Cash Game Festival regulars Jack Fenton and Peter La Terra.
Cash Game Festival project manager Andro Loos just announced to the poker room that there are two Sviten Special fishes that are looking for a Sviten Special game to open up. He was referring to two of the better players in the game including La Terra and Cash Game Festival CEO Andreas Roseborg.
Fenton, who recently doubled up his £1,000 buy-in on the feature table temporarily stood up before sitting back down once he saw who the two players were. He shared with PokerNews earlier today that he wanted to play Sviten Special again tonight, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him playing once the feature table action ends.
The Cash Game Festival has now set a new record for 2017 with 22 tables. The overall record for a Cash Game Festival was also in London in 2016 when 28 tables were running simultaneously.
Here is a breakout of the action currently running:
Game | Number of Tables |

£1/£1 no-limit hold'em | 11 |
£1/£2 no-limit hold'em | 7 |
£1/£2 pot-limit Omaha | 2 |
