Italy's Paolo Caverzaghi already doubled his stack on the €2/€5 no-limit hold'em feature table with a big hand against Kevin Malone.

The hand began with Malone straddling for €10 before Andrea Iengo raised from one seat over with {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Caverzaghi called from the cut-off with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}, Arkadiusz Kolodziejczyk called from the small blind with {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, and Malone completed the preflop action with {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

The action was checked to Caverzaghi after the flop came {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}{J-Spades} and he bet out for €48 with an open-ended straight-draw. Kolodziejczyk folded before Malone with top-pair jacked up the action to €150.

Iengo got out of the way and Caverzaghi called.

The {9-Diamonds} on the turn gave Caverzaghi the straight. Malone jammed his stack which more than covered the slightly more than €500 that his opponent had behind. Caverzaghi quickly called before the duo agreed to run the river three-times.

Malone was in about as rough shape as he could be in without drawing completely dead having just two outs for a chopped pot. Neither the {Q-Spades} or the {Q-Diamonds} appeared on any of the three rivers and Caverzaghi shipped a huge pot of over €1,400.

Cash Game Festival Bratislava Feature Table
Cash Game Festival Bratislava Feature Table

Italy's Paolo Caverzaghi is having a good time winning big pots at the €2/€5 no-limit hold'em feature table.

In a recent hand, the action began with Alex Eder raising from early position to €15 with {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and getting calls from Andrea Iengo with {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}, Kevin Malone with {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}, and Marek Hadinec in the big blind with {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

Caverzaghi three-bet to €85 with {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}. Eder and Iengo folded before Malone and Hadinec called.

The {6-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop was an action one with Caverzaghi flopping the best of it with a full-house. The action folded to Malone who bet €125 and got calls from both of his opponents.

It folded once again to Malone after the {10-Hearts} appeared on the turn and he fired out for €250. Hadinec with trip-sixes jammed all-in for €355 before Caverazaghi went over the top more than covering Malone's stack of around €500.

Malone tanked before he folded and the remaining two players agreed to run it three times with Hadinec drawing to just one out, the {6-Clubs} to save him. His one out didn't come on any of the boards and Caverzaghi collected a huge pot of over €1,600. Meanwhile, Hadinec gathered his things and left the table after the hand.

Cash Game Festival co-founder Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk is now in the house and shared he "feels amazing" when asked about arriving to Bratislava.

He shared he was going to dinner with his friend and Cash Game Festival regular Peter La Terra before hopping into some poker action this evening.

Franke's expectations are high or at least the bar has been set.

"I will win big for the second time in history against La Terra in Sviten Special," when asked about his plans later in the evening.

Franke, who is known to love to pot the action regardless of the cards he is holding shared he planned to become more conservative at least for him.

"I will fold more," said Franke. "I will maybe just pot 70 percent of the time."

La Terra who overheard the conversation snap said, "call," with him feeling Franke will be up to his usual tricks.

Jeffrey Lanser Watching the Stream Before Hopping into Action

Jeffrey Lanser
Jeffrey Lanser

Dutch student and poker player Jeffrey Lanser is now attending his third Cash Game Festival. He learned about the festival by watching the stream and becoming a fan. He then watched the stream at several more festivals before deciding to see what it was all about it and attended his first Cash Game Festival in London in September.

Lanser followed this up with a journey to the Cash Game Festival in Tallinn in November before coming out to Bratislava for this event.

Yesterday, Lanser appeared at the feature table and then took it easy chatting with old and new friends. Today, it has been entirely railing and socializing for Lanser.

He shared while he is having fun just relaxing he will hop back to the tables this evening. This is one of the beauties of the Cash Game Festival that players can hop on and off as they please and aren't stuck to a schedule like they would be in a tournament.
