Life is good for NordicBet player Jon Kyte. He won the Nordic Championships in Prague in December for €240,000 and has had a Cash Game Festival to remember despite being on the losing end of a £13,800 pot on Day 1.

He was the big winner at the feature table for the second time this festival this time logging in a profit of £6,500 or 650 big blinds at the £5/£10 no-limit hold'em table.

Kyte has agreed to an interview on Facebook live on Day 5 where we will learn more about his breakout year last year and his plans for 2018 and beyond.

The biggest feature table of the festival just began with stakes at £10/£25 no-limit hold'em. Many of the players are familiar from earlier feature tables. Here is a look at the line-up.

Will Fasano, in Seat 1, appeared on last night's £5/£10 no-limit hold'em feature table and has been playing poker for three years. His claim to fame is one of the biggest names in online poker will not sit at a table with him.

Harry Lodge, in Seat 2, is a well-known player in the United Kingdom with almost $1 million in live tournament cashes as tracked by The Hendon Mob.

Ben Morrison, in Seat 3, is making his second feature table appearance this festival. He has been playing poker for four years and shared his favorite hand is pocket rockets.

Sam Miller, in Seat 4, is thus far the biggest winner at any of the feature tables after booking a profit of £5,775 or 1,155 big blinds in a £2/£5 pot-limit Omaha game. Much of this came in an epic pot of almost £14,000 against Jon Kyte, who is out for revenge sitting one seat over in Seat 5.

Schwan Pauls, in Seat 6, is making his second feature table appearance this festival. He has been playing poker for five years and until this festival never played under lights and cameras.

Eddie Anderson, in Seat 7, has been playing poker for just two years. This hasn't made him shy away from playing against the big guns in a higher-stakes game. Rounding off the action is a player that asked to just be called Mo in Seat 8.

You check out each hand on a 20-minute delay on the televised feature table on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel and within our PokerNews coverage by clicking on the Live Stream tab.

The £1/£2 no-limit hold'em women's only table has just ended. Betsafe Ambassador Monika "HeyMonia" Zukowicz was winning the most throughout almost the entire stream.

However, after giving some chips back to her opponents, it was Caroline Cove who rose to the top to book a profit of £124 or 62 big blinds.

The feature table is now being set-up for some high-stakes action. We will share the line-up shortly after the action begins.

The Return of Brendon Krabill

Branden Krabill
Branden Krabill

Brendon Krabill was a regular of the Cash Game Festival in 2016. However, he moved from England back to his home country of the United States at the end of that year and was unable to make any of the stops during 2017.

It is now a new year and Krabill decided to spend the entire month of January back in England to both visit friends and of course make an appearance at the first Cash Game Festival of the year.

Krabill loves appearing both at the feature table and in the commentary booth and has stayed in touch with many of the "family" of the Cash Game Festival. He plans to chill with friends tonight and get back in the poker action today.
