Ryan "Metalface" Davey Wins the First Feature Table

We headlined Ryan "Metalface" Davey for the first feature table. Maybe we are starting a trend in picking out the biggest winners.

Despite other players building stacks early, Davey won a huge pot late in the stream with pocket kings to ship a profit of €278 or 139 big blinds at the €2/€2 no-limit hold'em feature table.

While this won't be enough to be in the running for the trophy for the player that wins the most big blinds on all 10 feature tables, it is always nice to start off with a win.

Davey, who came to the festival with his wife Fay Davey, seemed pleased with his performance but is looking ahead.

"The win will at least pay for my next buy-in," shared Davey.

The players at the feature table have either moved to side tables or are heading to dinner. Meanwhile, a €2/€5 feature table featuring Cash Game Festival trophy winners Jon Kyte and Kevin Malone as well as Unibet Poker Ambassador Espen Uhlen Jørstad.

Metalface Doubles with Kings

Cash Game Festival regular Ryan "Metalface" Davey just doubled up near the end of the €2/€2 no-limit hold'em feature table.

In a double straddled hand, 32Red Poker qualifier Edgars Bomis raised to €31 with {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. Arttu Iisakka called with {J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} before Davey three-bet to €72 with {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}.

Both Bomis and Iisakka called and all three players checked on the {8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop.

Davey then led out for €125 after the {6-Diamonds} appeared on the turn. Bomis folded and Iisakka called.

The {9-Clubs} completed the board on the river and Davey went all-in for €131. Iisakka had his opponent covered by a ton of chips and snap-called to hand his opponent a huge pot of more than €700.

You might think Iisakka is down money based on the two hands we witnessed. However, he ihas been quite active at the tables and is up a bit from other hands.

Christoph Rueegg Starting Hot

Not much could go Christoph Rueegg's way during the last Cash Game Festival in Bratislava. As can happen to anyone, he suffered bad beat after bad beat.

This didn't stop Rueegg from having fun as part of the reason he loves the Cash Game Festival is that he can spend quality time with his poker friends that come to many of the stops.

After Bratislava, Rueegg qualified to the Cash Game Festival Tallinn through a satellite at Unibet Poker. As fate would have it, the satellite he won was the very last qualifier the online poker room was running to this festival.

So far so good for Rueegg both on and away from the tables. He flew out with his sister to treat her to a few days in Tallinn and the surrounding areas as a birthday gift.

Today, on the tables, Rueegg shared that his start in Tallinn has been great and "the exact opposite as Bratislava."

He is playing at the €2/€2 pot-limit Omaha table with a bunch of fun players. He bought in for just €200 and is already up more than €1,200. Many of his chips came in a huge pot where five players include Rueegg were all-in preflop.

His friend Alan Sabo won a full Cash Game Festival package valued at €1,500 as part of the high hand promotion that ran in Bratislava.

Masarovic didn't wait long to get into the action and hopped onto the feature table in Seat 2.

32Red Qualifier Edgars Armans Doubles with Pocket Aces

Edgars Armans

Edgars Armans, who qualified for his third straight Cash Game Festival package at 32Red Poker, was slightly down on chips at the €2/€2 no-limit hold'em televised feature tables but now is ahead after a double-up.

He opened from the button to €11 with {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}. Tauri Taimre called from the small blind with {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} before Arttu Iisakka three-bet to €33 from the big blind with {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

Armans four-bet to €80 or about half his stack before the hand began. Taimre folded before Iisakka who had his opponent covered five-bet all-in.

Armans made the obvious call and the players ran it twice. Armans' hand held through the first run of the cards with the board running {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. He then took shipped the entire pot for a double-up after the {6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} appeared on the second board.

Free Drinks at the Feature Table

Cash Game Festival Tallinn Welcome Drinks
Cash Game Festival Tallinn Welcome Drinks

We expect the feature tables during the Cash Game Festival Tallinn to be more feisty than normal. The reason is that throughout the festival, players at the feature table can enjoy free beer, cider, and house wine.

Of course, players can opt a more conservative route and choose to drink "boring" water and soft drinks instead for free.

PLO Opens

It didn't take long for a table featuring a game outside of no-limit hold'em to open.

Cash Game Festival Co-Founders Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk and Enri Orav join Cash Game Festival regulars Aigar Dambrans and Jon Kyte at the table, Also in the action are Cash Game Festival veteran Jon Kyte, Unibet Poker qualifier Christoph Rueegg, Unibet Poker Ambassador Rauno "Estonian Jesus" Tahvonen at the €2/€2 no-limit hold'em table.

The action at that table isn't like your typical casino poker game with players getting a bit splashy with their chips and having fun with friends.
