Zhang Takes Big Chunk from Yen

Yerry Yen opened to 525,000 with 3♠3♣ and is called by Cedrric Trevino with A♥Q♣ and Tommy Zhang with 8♠4♠.

The flop came out 4♥5♠2♠ to give Zhang the lead with a pair of fours and a flush draw with Yen in second with his pair and open-ended straight draw.

Action checks to Yen who continued for 850,000 and was called by Zhang while Trevino got out of the way.

The turn 8♦ further improves Zhang to two-pair and he led out for 1,300,000, but was then raised by Yen to 3,700,000, which Zhang just called.

On the river Q♦, Zhang checked, and Yen wisely checked back, at which point Zhang showed the goods to award him the substantial pot.
