Schneider Misses Some Value with Boat

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

On a three-way flop of 287, Joseph Schneider checked to Bao Huynh who bet 2,500 and was called by Shawn Wilcox and Schneider.

The turn came the 8, pairing the board, and Huynh continued for 7,500, which Wilcox and Schneider both called again.

When the river fell the 7, after all three players checked, Hunyh revealed 66 which had been counterfeit to six high, then Wilcox confidently showed AQ for a flush, but was quickly humbled when Schneider rolled over 68 for a full house.

"Dang, I missed a bet! Could have got value from a flush!" Schneider added regretfully as he was pushed the pot.

Welcome back to another exciting day of poker here at the Winter Poker Open hosted by Champions Club poker room in Houston, Texas. Today will feature the fifth starting flight, Day 1e, of Event #15: $1,500 -$1 Million GTD Main Event! The current stack to beat is held by Ryan Van from yesterday's Day 1d who bagged a whopping 1,314,000 after busting Christopher Chomenko to burst the bubble.

This flight will kick off at noon local time and registration will be open for a whopping nine hours and fifteen minutes (approximately 9:15 pm) and play will continue until 12% of the field remains.

Players will receive a starting stack of 60,000 and levels will be 40 minutes in length for all starting flights, and then will be increased to 60 minutes on Day 2.

The two-day event culminates with a live-streamed final table on Sunday, February 18th once all survivors from the six opening flights have been thinned to nine remaining contenders. Those opening flight returnees will come back to the Champions Club poker room at noon Sunday to continue their chase for a six-figure payday.

As always, keep a bookmark on PokerNews as we will be providing you with all of the action here at Champions Club!
