Zhang Picks Up Aces to Bust Hammons

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

After some preflop back-and-forth, Zachary Hammons and Tommy Zhang got all of the chips into the middle, with Hammons at risk.

Zachary Hammons: JJ
Tommy Zhang: AA

The runout of 56379 was of no help to Hammons and he was sent to the exit while Zhang added to his stack.

Guerra Forces Fold from Jacks

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Heriberto Guerra
Heriberto Guerra

Anthony Quattrochi opened to 12,000 and was called by Heriberto Guerra in the big blind.

The flop came out AA7 and Guerra took the lead and bet 15,000, which produced a rather hasty fold from Quattrochi, claiming he had pocket jacks. This garnered quite a reaction from the table with a lot of puzzled looks.

"I've played with him all day! He's got it 100%!"

Garcia Spikes Jack for Double KO

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

After a preflop betting war, Victor De Los Santos, Chad Melerine, and Cord Garcia got all of the chips into the middle, with Garcia covering.

Victor De Los Santos: AK
Chad Melerine: QQ
Cord Garcia: JJ

Melerine was in a great spot to triple up, but true to Cord form, the runout came 259JK to give him a set of jacks on the turn to scoop the entire pot, busting both players.

Straight Good for Bevans on Four-Flush Board

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of J57, Chi Nguyen led for 12,000 and was called by Karim Bevans to see the turn 3. Nguyen checked, which led to a bet of 35,000 from Bevans and a call from Nguyen.

Nguyen then checked in the dark and a 8 rolled off on the river, making a flush for any heart holding. Bevans thought for a second and decided to check back.

"Any heart, you're good," Nguyen said as he turned over the 3 for a pair of threes only.

"Straight," Bevans announced as he flipped over 910 for a made straight on the river to take down the pot.
