Wieland Scoops Massive Pot With Flush
Level 6
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
On a three-way flop of A♦Q♣6♣, Zachary Vuong, Carson Wieland, and David Shaw all got their chips into the middle, with Vuong covering.
Carson Wieland: 9♣7♣ - flush draw
David Shaw: Q♥6♦ - two pair
Zachary Vuong: A♠J♦ - top pair
Shaw was ahead with his two-pair, but the turn K♣ immediately gave Wieland a big lead with his flush and the river 5♥ failed to pair the board, awarding him the huge pot. Shaw was left with zero chips and snap-rebought into the tournament while Vuong exited a few hands later.
