Thomas Fades a Heart to Double
Level 15
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Level 10: Blinds 1.5k/2.5k/2.5k
On a heads-up flop of 9♥6♥8♥, Nicholas Burnett bet 15,000 but then Ben Thomas moved all in for 92,000 total.
Burnett thought about it for a few seconds but eventually made the call to put Thomas at risk and tabled A♥J♣ for the nut flush draw, but Thomas already had the flush with K♥J♥.
The board ran out A♦J♦, just adding insult to injury as it gave Burnett a meaningless two-pair and most of his stack was shipped over to Thomas.
