David Shaw Eliminated in 15th Place ($2,850)

Kirk Brown

Level 25 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

David Shaw opened to 230,000 preflop and Derek Normand was the only caller to see a flop of J♥Q♠5♦.

Shaw led for 300,000 then Normand moved all in to cover. Shaw quickly called to put himself at risk and the cards were tabled.

David Shaw: A♣Q♥
Derek Normand: A♦A♠

"Nice flat," Shaw said to Normand as the board completed with the J♠8♠ runout and he headed to the payout desk in 15th place.

Shaw was also one of the players that pulled a $5,000 bounty, a nice consolation prize.
