Tokko Takes Velkuru's Tournamnet Life

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Mustapha Tokko opened to 11,000 from early position and was called by the lojack and Sandeep Velkuru in the big blind.

When the flop came out 432, Velkuru led-jammed for 93,000 and Tokko shipped for more while the other player got out of the way.

Velkuru flipped over 1010 and was ahead against the AK of Tokko. Unfortunately for him, the turn A immediately gave Tokko the upper hand with his ace and the river 6 sealed Velkuru's fate. The pot was then shipped over to Tokko to boost his stack to over 250,000 while Velkuru was sent to the rail.

Garcia Claims Another Stack

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Cord Garcia and William Johnson got all the chips into the middle preflop, with Johnson at risk of elimination.

Johnson had the upper hand with AJ against the A6 of Garcia, but the runout was not his friend as it came Q9985 for Garcia to hit the flush on the river. Johnson made his way to the exit while his stack was shipped over to Garcia to add to his hoard.
